This paper is part of an ongoing study that explores the role of gender in the spread of HIV/AIDS in the Caribbean. Specifically it examines how gender and gender relations impact on women’s access to their sexual and reproductive health and rights and how this in turn increases women’s vulnerability to HIV infection.
